AUEC ‘26 S2 Brochure

In Collaboration with Leon Huang

Taking inspiration from Tomio Fujisawa's promotional artwork for Tekken 5: DR, the cover design started out with the crowd drowned in a dark magenta hue, contrasted with a desaturated background and purple waves. I eventually hit a crossroads in terms of design direction, which led me to consult Leon to flesh out the concept. The inner pages of the brochure revisit a concept Leon designed for our Fall/Winter merch release, where the AUEC logo extends across two pages as a visual bridge. Although we chose not to use it at the time because it didn't mesh well with Instagram's post format, it was probably a stroke of luck that we got to use it in a way that really puts it in the spotlight.
